Chinchillas are very clean creatures that take care of their own fur. You should therefore place a container of around 20 cm long and 15 cm high with a 2-cm layer of bathing sand in the cage every evening and allow it to stand for half an hour. Your chinchilla will wash itself by rolling in the sand, keeping its fur soft and fresh. The canister comes with a sprinkling nozzle for optimum ease of use.
